At our front desk, you’ll find all the information you need to enjoy a dream vacation in the Dordogne: brochures on places to visit (castles, caves, chasms, gardens, canoeing…), the schedules for local markets —of which there are many in the Dordogne—and festive events in our beautiful Périgord region…
We also offer mail service and sell postcards.

A family story
Originally from Allier in Auvergne and as former campers, we fell in love with the Périgord Noir.
As a family passionate about camping in the Dordogne, we took the plunge in 2018.
We run this campground as a family, creating a 100% family-friendly atmosphere.
We wanted a family-friendly campground on a human scale so we could build close relationships with our guests, whether they’ve rented a mobile home in the Dordogne or are staying in a chalet in the Périgord Noir.
Our goal is to offer a high-end, quiet campground in the Dordogne that’s perfect for families with young children— all at the best value in the Dordogne.

Our Camping Qualité campground in the Dordogne is regularly inspected based on more than 600 criteria; during our most recent audit in August 2016, we achieved a score of 95.3%.

Our 4-star campground in the Dordogne, Le Val de la Marquise, also holds the “Quali famille” certification, a designation that recognizes establishments that prioritize providing a high-quality experience for all families: large families, families with children, families with infants, and more…
At our eco-friendly campground in the Dordogne, environmental conservation is also one of our top priorities.
We have implemented a comprehensive plan aimed at reducing our water and energy consumption and minimizing the impact of our campground—which features a fishing pond— on the natural environment: recycling, limited watering, a pond that helps maintain biodiversity, staff using electric vehicles, and restricted vehicle traffic on the campground…
Val de la Marquise is an LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) sanctuary. Many species of birds can be found on the property (titmouse, bullfinch, thrush, kingfisher, goldfinch, heron, bat, etc.)
We’ve installed many birdhouses on the property, and you may spot rare bird species from our campground with a pool in the Dordogne.
