The banks are lined with trees, and benches have been set up for your comfort. A walk around the pond offers a pleasant stroll through this peaceful, lush setting. Fishing along the pond is very similar to fishing along a lake, and enthusiasts will enjoy it just as much, if not more. Access is free (included in your campsite fee or in your mobile home or cabin rental) and reserved for guests of our campground in the Périgord Noir. No fishing license is required. The campground’s pond runs along the entire length of the site and is fed by a second-class stream, which guarantees excellent water quality.
Right here at the fishing campground, you can catch carp (leather carp, mirror carp, and white carp), roach, bream, tench, and even sturgeon!!!

This activity at our nature campground in the Dordogne is practiced on a “no-kill” basis, with the utmost respect for the fish. Barbless hooks are also recommended.
For those who prefer river fishing, our campground—which features a fishing pond —is located just 500 meters from the Vézère, a river teeming with fish. It’s a favorite spot for fly-fishing enthusiasts. Treat yourself to a weekend or fishing trip in the Val de la Marquise.
For those who prefer to relax, we’ve set up a beautiful beach with fine sand at the end of the lake. You can relax on a lounge chair in the shade of a magnificent weeping willow while the rest of the family enjoys fishing or building sandcastles. There’s nothing better than spending a vacation right by the water in such a lush, green setting. As a reminder, please note that swimming is not recommended.
